Responsibilities
- To provide support and assistance to Departments and the Business in the formulating of policies, maintenance and monitoring of the risk and compliance framework in line with relevant MAS regulatory rules and requirements.
- To be instrumental in the gathering, producing, and coordinating of information and reporting as required and in a timely manner.
- To provide support to the Head of Legal & Compliance as required, including but not limited to supporting the delivery of the Company’s Compliance Plan and assisting with the effectiveness of the Risk & Compliance Function.
- Conducting internal process checks
- Formulating of policies that address the areas of Risk and Control
- Assist in performing compliance reviews and reviewing the compliance and risk management framework, policies, procedures and controls.
- Formulating and conducting periodic testing of Business Continuity Plan
An established Compliance & Risk Manager, we imagine the following sounds like you:
- At least Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- At least 5 years of relevant experience and expertise with financial services
- Familiar with the Singapore AML/CFT regulations and law
- Technically-inclined with ability to engage and work with technology specialists
- Experience in dealing with regulators or as MAS liaison officer
- Fluent in English and Chinese, both written and spoken
- Willing to take challenge and work under pressure
- In-depth strategic thinker with ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Priority for experience in financial sector with good understanding of MAS regulations
